Mud Coffee.

I can’t explain why I’ve been seized by a sudden nostalgia for my favorite coffeehouse, but it probably has something to do with the fact that I’m sitting here sipping a warm, caffeinated beverage from my Mud travel thermos. Even though there are plenty of cute indie coffee and tea spots all over the place, sitting tucked away in a corner catching up w/ old friends over a hot cup of superlative coffee in the one-of-a-kind place that is Mud is an experience that I’m yearning for right now.

If you find yourself in NYC’s East Village sometime, check them out here, or at the exit to the Uptown 6 train at Astor Place.

Mike says Mud Coffee rocks his socks.
